A beautiful late 19th century/early 20th century blanc de chine pot de crème, handmade in Italy.Reproduced from eighteenth century designs from the Pont aux Choux factory, one of the first important French faience factories. Made of pottery rather than hard paste porcelain and decorated with a delicate rosebud and leaf finial. The original cups of this design come from the collection of the Musee Des Arts Decoratifs in Paris, France.In good condition for its age, with some crazing and a small tip of one of the leaves on the lid is broken off.3.25” tall (w/ lid), 3.5” wide (incl. handle), 2.25” opening
